The family is the cornerstone of our society. As such, we as a society need to promote the primacy of family in raising & supporting children. If families struggle, society struggles.
This nation was founded on the ideals described within the Declaration of Independence. We the People take on our civic duty to be active and involved in promoting those ideals & utterly rejecting the radical modern ideologies which undermine them.
If the cause of individual liberty is not promoted, it is an opportunity for government coercion to move in. Citizens should demand a government that is responsible with their tax dollars, never spending outside its means. I will not raise taxes. I have signed a pledge not to - and I intend to keep it.
All human life is sacred, and has inherent dignity and value to society. In the womb, at home, in schools, at work, at the doctor's office, in the streets, overseas, in this country. I have been active for the cause of life from my youth, praying outside clinics, attending rallies all over the country, studying the law on life issues, and engaging in the one-on-one conversation necessary to build a culture of life.
Collier County has experienced a historic boom in the last decade, much of had has outpaced the infrastructure necessary to support it. At this point, any further developments must only address specific targeted needs, like improving traffic conditions, increasing attainable housing for families, and streamlining the permitting process for current homeowners. Any future development must only be done while striving to maintain the character of Collier County for future generations.
